California Institute of Environmental Design & Management (CIEDM), as a local grassroots, celebrates the global campaign of 2024 #WorldMetropolitanDay and #DRRday, the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction together to address the climate crisis with two actions:
A meetup at and a tour of Arcadia Ecohome to, respectively, discuss and showcase the building and landscaping features to sink carbon and heat and to lead in community resiliency
A advocacy writeup and online/ social media posting to share and spread the campaign messages and what grassroots can contribute to push the transition as we have done at the Ecohome.
